Recent and upcoming client work.

Recently finished: dusty purple/mulberry brocade and black velvet 1760s gent's frock coat. Black cotton novelty lining, inside chest pocket, working flap pockets, silver buttons down front, on pocket flaps, cuffs, and at top of side vents. Trimmed throughout with black guimpe braid, down fronts, around neck (collarless), on pocket flaps, and used to make faux buttonholes on pockets and down front.

Purple linen dress shirt with French cuffs, custom sized in collar, sleeves, and length. Gift for husband for Valentine's day.

Dress shirt in deep red silk dupioni, French cuffs, black buttons with deep red thread. For delivery 17th February. Cutting party today!

Client: 5 dresses copied from client's original. One with flounced sleeves, all with pockets and moderate scoop neckline, varying shades of stretch velvet, some with gorgeous embossed designs.

Upcoming:
Costume Con, first weekend in May 2009.
-charles II outfit for competition: green cotton velvet, black cotton velvet (coat and breeches), white vintage metallic brocade (waistcoat), ribbon trimming for coat & breeks, probably green and black ribbon, also on shoes. shoes will be hopefully purchased online, heels will be painted red and shoes will be trimmed up in ribbon.

Pink Pirate: bright pink 1690s frock coat, trimmed with black, (cotton velvet, dyed by a friend), pink breeks with black lace & trimming, also cotton velvet, there might be some bright pink silk noile in the mix, as well.

Stripey polonaise posse: 1760s-70s polonaise gown, drafted up from scale pattern in book. Narrow even-width black and white striped bengaline, self and black fabric ruched trim. Hat for same hopefully made by a friend.

Cream and black toile/stripe 1870s or 1880s summer outfit. Polonaise and elaborately trimmed over & underskirts. For Derby Day party on the saturday, so will need a great hat to go with.

Client: dusty purple/mulberry brocade corset and skirt, skirt will be victorian in style, bustle styling possible, will have contrast in black lace or other material. Silver button trim. Corset will be busk front, lace up back, waist tape, spring and flat steel boning, and be bound in black materal.

Convergence:
Client: couple of repro 1920s-30s style outfits, also some refurbishing of vintage clothing.
New summer 1930s-40s suit for D, shirt and retro tie. New, summer hat.
